I have lived in the Denver metro area my entire life, except for 2 years spent in Arizona. My father owned a masonry construction business and as soon as I was old enough, I was at job sites helping my dad’s crew however I could. He always taught me the value of hard work, dedication and perseverance.

When I graduated from Brighton High School, I attended the Metropolitan State University of Denver, studying Business Management and Chicano Studies, while also earning my Colorado real estate license. During my college years, I worked two different jobs to help make ends meet, including real estate and masonry construction.

After graduating from college with a Bachelor’s degree, I decided to follow a different passion and went on to work for the Denver Scholarship Foundation (DSF). At DSF, I worked directly with hundreds of first-generation and low income high school students in helping them realize their dreams of attending college, while assisting them to secure 10’s of millions of dollars in scholarships!

Following my work with high school students, I went on to lead outreach and recruitment for a multi-million federal grant project at the University of Colorado Denver. My job was to recruit future teachers in an effort to diversify and enhance the teacher workforce. This position was brand new, which provided invaluable experience by allowing me to build the systems and strategy from the ground up.

In 2016, I was offered a full scholarship to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Arizona State University (ASU) in Tempe, Arizona. The MBA program at ASU is one of the best programs in the country, which is invaluable when helping my clients. While studying in Arizona, I concentrated in entrepreneurship and received a corporate real estate certification. Along with statistics, accounting, strategy, and the other many business-related topics, I was able to study and practice negotiation from some of the top experts in the field, the very people who write the books on negotiation. While most of my classmates were focused on landing jobs at fortune 500 companies, I was determined to return to Colorado and real estate to follow my passion of helping individuals and families achieve the American dream of home ownership.
